About This Site
This site, which provides historical analysis of the Mexican-American War, as well as related primary documents and images, is a project of the Multimedia Digitization Lab at Northern Illinois University Libraries.
Project Staff:
Drew E. VandeCreek, Project Director, holds a Ph.D. in American History from the University of Virginia.
Stacey Erdman (January 2008 - ), Technology Coordinator, holds a M.A. in Library and Information Studies and a specialization In Archives and Records Management from the University of Wisconsin, and is completing a M.A. in Popular Culture from Bowling Green State University.
Anitha Paruchuri, Web Developer, holds a M.S. in Computer Science from Northern Illinois University.
Charles Larry, Graphics Designer, is Art Librarian at Northern Illinois University Libraries.
Jennifer Erbach was a teacher's certification student in Social Studies at Northern Illinois University until the spring of 2003. She wrote a lesson plan related to the Mexican-American War available on this site.
Tim Lockman, Intern in Web Development (Summer 2004), is a student of Library and Information Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Former Technology Coordinator Tara L. Dirst (January 1999 - April 2007), holds a M.A. in American History and Women's Studies from Northern Illinois University and a M.S. in Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
